Deux was formed in Lyon in 1981 by Gérard Pelletier and Cati Tête. Gérard was inspired by Kraftwerk and after spending some time in Germany and purchasing a synthesizer in Strasbourg, he returned to France to work in Lyon. He practiced music with his friends every Saturday. Gérard says, “one day, I met Cati and I spoke with that magical girl about music the entire night. Deux was born."
